Nanango Shire – Quarterly Review

We recently completed a site visit to review the Key Peformance Indicators for the management of the Unsealed Road Network. We also completed a budget and resource review with supervisors for all road maintenance and construction projects.

Dust Trial – Under way at Mackay City Council

We are testing four products over six months on different unsealed road sections. The products are Dustex (Lignin Sulphonate), Geo.R.Bond (Electron-Chemical), Ploycom and 3M SDS-4 (Surfactant). We will be monitoring the total dust fallout and suspended Dust Particles and condition over this period.

Nanango Shire -Assistance with 5 Year Road Works Program

We are working with Engineer staff to develop a 5 years works program for roads looking maintenance, renewal and capital works items. This has involved reviewing the difference between renewal and maintenance works with staff to ensure renewal works is not book to maintenance.
