Presented to Regional Councilor on the unsealed road delivery model process currently been used and refined. We covered the following items: 1. Road Network 2. Current Service Levels for Unsealed Roads 3. Delivery Model Process 4. Budget tools used to model the Delivery Approach.
Attended the NSW IPWEA State Conference
We had a trade booth at the conference promoting the unsealed roads 2 day training course. More information can be found on the web site about our unique training course.
Sunshine Coast – Unsealed Road Delivery Model Presentation
Presented to regional council managers and supervisors the unsealed road delivery model process currently been used at the old Maroochy Shire council. We covered the following items: 1. Current Service Levels for Unsealed Roads 2. Delivery Model Process 3. Budget tools used to model the Delivery Approach.
Mackay City – Budget Time
We complete a review of KPI, works and expenditure and developed a budget for the coming year for unsealed road maintenance works based of defined service levels.
IPWEACQ- Conference Yeppoon
Attending an excellent conference at Yeppoon and Golf on the Saturday. We also delievered a paper on the use of GBM Mobile for Asset Collection - Fitzroy Shire Council Project. This paper was completed with two students from CQU. They did an encellent job.
Boonah – Unsealed Training Course and Management Review
Spent 3 days with Boonah Shire in March. We competed a review of current practices of the management of the unsealed road network. Ranging from operational, services level determination, budgetting and reporting. Also we reviewed the asset management processes, especically the asset register progress.
Maroochy – Unsealed Road Management, Quarterly Review
We completed a quarterly review of the Key Performance Indicators for the management of the unsealed road network. We also ran a workforce presentation on the outcomes achieved to date. This was well recieved.
Nanango Shire – Quarterly Review
We recently completed a site visit to review the Key Peformance Indicators for the management of the Unsealed Road Network. We also completed a budget and resource review with supervisors for all road maintenance and construction projects.
Dust Trial – Under way at Mackay City Council
We are testing four products over six months on different unsealed road sections. The products are Dustex (Lignin Sulphonate), Geo.R.Bond (Electron-Chemical), Ploycom and 3M SDS-4 (Surfactant). We will be monitoring the total dust fallout and suspended Dust Particles and condition over this period.
